Shot around 1980, the film offers a broad cross-section of bands, from superstars-on-the-rise like the Police to underground staples like Gang of Four and the Cramps, alongside now-forgotten oddities like Invisible Sex. Ignoring labels like punk or pop, the film showcases a number of bands playing to equally enthusiastic audiences of all types. Cinematically released in 1981.
