Published November 2025 by A Way with Media, Meteorite is Toyah Willcox’s fearless visual memoir of survival, creativity, and reinvention.
From a childhood shaped by disability and isolation, she found liberation through music, theatre, and punk rebellion. Inspired by icons like Marc Bolan and David Bowie, Toyah forged her own path as a singer, actress, and performer—defying industry expectations and carving out a fiercely independent identity.
Spanning her rise to fame, creative sanctuaries in France and Seattle, and her enduring partnership with Robert Fripp, Meteorite is an honest, raw, and inspiring celebration of individuality and resilience—a manifesto for anyone who has ever felt underestimated or silenced. The book coincides with an extensive UK tour. Beginning March 2026, Toyah/Songs & Stories spans 49 dates and offer an intimate evening of music and revealing insights from a career spanning five decades.
Toyah says: “Meteorite is my story told through the energy that has carried me through decades of music, performance, and reinvention. Each song, image, and memory feels like a fragment of light — moments that burned bright, collided, and reshaped who I am and had a lasting influence on my fans. Like the tour itself, this book is about connection: with the music, with the images that have defined each era, and with everyone who has been part of this incredible journey.”
See Toyah preview the book on Toyah At Home on Saturday 1 November.
