Toyah’s 1987 solo album Desire and 1988 solo album Prostitute were both reissued on 6 June by Demon, on limited edition picture disc vinyl, and expanded Deluxe 2CD Editions. Both albums charted on various Official Album Charts on 13 June nearly four decades after their first release.

Desire
contains Toyah’s cover of the New Wave classic Echo Beach which has many fans alongside favourites Desire and Revive The World, the latter of which features guitar playing by Robert Fripp and The League of Crafty Guitarists. Prostitute is a bold and unique piece of work which saw Toyah bravely discard a rock/pop format and experiment with just drums, minimal guitar and sampled found sound. Created with Steve Sidelnyk (later a live and studio drummer on Madonna’s Ray Of Light and Music albums), the album was performed live in November 1988 as the first act on the Fripp Fripp tour. The 2CD edition features an official recording of a live concert in Chichester.Alongside these, a deluxe picture disc of the 1985 solo album Minx was also issued and also charted in two official album charts.
