Toyah Willcox and Robert Fripp have confirmed they are performing live at the legendary Isle of Wight Festival 2023.
Toyah first played played the Big Top stage at the Isle of Wight Festival in 2021 as the album Posh Pop entered the Top 30 album chart.
With close to a century of experience between them, music runs through their veins. Never ones to stand still, with decades of iconic albums, hit singles and concert tours to both their names, Toyah and Robert have most recently connected to global audiences through social media. A staggering 77 million have viewed their weekly performances on YouTube, plus millions more on facebook and TikTok.
The duo will perform live with a full band with Robert Fripp on guitar, presenting a joyful and upbeat set of classic songs to delight festival goers and live music lovers. With the unique artistic twists Robert and Toyah are renowned for, they’ll perform hits and much-loved rock classics from Heroes to Rebel Yell, It’s A Mystery to Slave To The Rhythm and Are You Gonna Go My Way. Blondie, Robbie Williams and Manic Street Preachers also play 18 June, the finale day of the multi-day festival which is a hugely anticipated fixture in the festival calendar.
